The authors of this book are the very brilliant John and Elizabeth Sherill of course while having Corrie Ten Boom on board herself to give the book just the right tinge of realism. This book according to the authors was at first based on another notion that would have entitled the book as the ‘God’s smuggler’ but that’s when Corrie Ten Boom’s remarkable anecdote struck their creative minds. This led them to believe in the fact that it would have been a great loss for the literary world if this book was not written. This book was written during the time when Nazi’s took over the realm of Holland; Nazi stands for National Socialist German workers party which worked under ‘Adolph Hitler’ and carried forward a German ideology which was based on their revenge from the Jews who were successful in executing their conspiracy by the end of World War I. They primarily supported Pan-German views, welfare of the state, taxation, racism, economic and political liberalism and last but certainly not the least anti-communism.

Corrie was celebrated because of the known ‘Iron curtain’ that she provided needy people with after which she was honored with the title of ‘Double-old Grand mother’ in Vietnam. Corrie’s missionary work inspired John and Elizabeth Sherill to think twice before writing ‘God’s smuggler’ which they had planned to write along with having a chapter in it purely dedicated to Corrie Ten Boom’s work and courage but eventually they learnt that this woman is a chronicle of strength and love in herself which is worthy enough to write a book on. The story revolves around the Ten Boom family who were living a trouble-free life residing in Haarlem, Holland until they gave Jews a place to hide for the sake of humanity which explains the horrid experiences that they had to come across throughout the book.

The writers through this book prepare the readers time and time again for this courageous woman along with her obvious traits; a constant expression of gratitude, peace and calm in spite of the awful experiences that she went through during the most significant years of her lifetime. The book ‘Hiding place’ is a great achievement on the author’s part because of the display of the deep love for what is important for God and how His love will remain a protective shadow falling upon us each day. There could be no better example to portray the eminence of Humanity than the Ten Boom family and the secret place they created for the welfare of Human kind. Moreover, the book also conveys the message that politics is not all about spite and rivalry but it can rather be acknowledged as a dignified path to attain desired goals by employing ways that are approved by God and by serving mankind the best way possible.

Why do you need to keep statistics in your practice? The reason is because it’s the best way to know what’s going on in your practice.

You require a new patient to fill out paperwork, ask questions during a consultation and exam, to find out what’s going on with their health? You should track the health of your practice too.

Along with tracking the health of your practice, keeping stats will…

- help you measure progress towards your goals
-show you when to make adjustments with your strategies
-show you what’s working and what’s not (very important for marketing)

The statistics below are 7 areas you should review monthly. In fact, it won’t hurt to review weekly if you really want to determine how your practice is doing.

#1. Number of new patients.

A new patient is anyone who comes in and completes an exam. Only count them as a new patient when they’ve paid you for the first visit or they’re a free exam but they’ve scheduled to come back.

Do not include persons that come in for a free consultation and leave.

#2. Average number of visits a new patient stays.

This is often referred to as your “retention” or “PVA”. PVA stands for “patient visit average.”
To measure it for a full month, take all your visits that month and divide it by the number of new patients you had during the same month.

#3. Average dollars collected per patient.

To figure this you take your total collections for the month, and divide it by the number of new patients you had during that month.

#4. Conversion rate of new patients to care.

To find this number, take the number of patients who started care during a month, then divide by the total new patients you had that month.

#5. Case average.

Case average is a number that represents how much money that patient will generate over time in your practice. Take your collections for the month (or quarterly, yearly) and divide by the number of new patients during the month. Or, take your PVA times your $/visit. So take #2 and #3 above and multiply them together.

#6. ROI for your marketing.

ROI stands for “return on investment.” To figure it, simply take the amount of income (gross collections) your marketing brought back to your practice and divide it by what you spent on that marketing.

To accurately measure your ROI, ask the patient (either on your intake forms or verbally) where they heard about your office. Using your software, track the new patient sources. Regularly go back and update the ROI, because it will keep increasing as the patient (or insurance) pays for their care over time.

Also, measure every type of advertising and marketing you do…newspaper ads, yellow pages, internet leads, sending $5 Starbucks cards to new patients with a stick letter, website costs, direct mail, money mailers, etc, etc.

#7. Net profit.

To figure your net profit, take your total collections minus your overhead and personal perks backed out. If you have a car through your office, pay your health insurance, etc, back all that out to get a real picture.

And take out your salary too. You want to find out how much your practice brings in for you overall and compare it to previous months and years. You can add back your salary and perks later for accounting and tax purposes.

Below are additional stats that are necessary to keep so you can calculate the numbers in the top 7. These others, like collections and charges, tell you a lot about the health of your practice.

-visits
-charges
-overall collections
-collections by insurance
-% of money collected compared to charged
-dollars charged per service
-Money spent on marketing
-number of conversions
-new patient sources

Last but not least…create a weekly and monthly spreadsheet listing all of the stats is this article. Once you have this formatted it will only take minutes per day for you or your staff to enter the numbers at the end of each day.

Learning to read a stock chart is an indispensible skill, in beginners stock trading. A core component of Technical Analysis, a stock chart can tell you a lot about the company you’re researching. I will say this, however: while a chart cannot predict the future price of a stock, it can help you make an educated guess, based on its past movements.

There are many different chart types. It’s important that you understand how to read at least a couple different types of charts in beginners stock trading, as one may be more suitable during different types of research. I’ll cover a few of the most common, and review their pros and cons. Ultimately, I’ll tell you which type I use, and why you should consider making it your primary chart, as well.

The simplest type of chart is the Line Chart. Best compared to the typical “Company Profit” chart, it simply shows a line connecting the dots of the stock’s closing price each day. It’s easy to read and understand for beginners stock trading, but it doesn’t show much for the price action of the stock, during each day. This type of chart is most commonly used to show a stock’s movement at a glance, not for predictive research.

A more complex type of chart is the Bar Chart. Essentially, each day of trading produces another vertical line, or bar, on the chart. The stock’s high and low values for the day determine how tall the bar is, and where it’s positioned on the chart. In addition to each vertical line, a small horizontal line will appear on the left and right side of each bar, showing the opening and closing price of the stock. The opening price will appear on the left, and the closing price will appear on the right. A Bar Chart will also be colored to show whether the price ultimately rose during the day (green) or fell (red). This type of chart is more useful for stock research, as you’re not only able to see where the stock price closed, but also how much the price moved within each trading day. This is important, because it can show you how much price movement you can expect, on any given day. Despite this extra information, Bar Charts can be difficult to read in beginners stock trading, because the horizontal and vertical lines that compose each bar can be quite small.

Expanding on the bar chart, we move to the Candle Stick Chart. This chart gets its name from the fact that each day’s trading looks like a candle with a wick coming out of each end. The length and position of the wick represents the stock’s high and low values, as the bar chart did. Also, the length and position of the candle body determines the open and closing prices of the stock. Like the bar chart, each day’s candle also appears in green or red, depending on the day’s price action. The real benefit of Candle Stick charts over bar charts is the fact that the colored body is much easier to read, letting you spot the open and close values of the stock more quickly in beginners stock trading.

In beginners stock trading, you need to be able to read charts quickly, and effectively. Knowing price direction is not enough. Being able to see each day’s price action, in addition to direction, is a must! As I’ve mentioned, the Line Chart’s simple construction limits its use to quick or historical review of a stock’s price. The need for a more informative chart brought about the Line Chart, which does include most of the information you need for more detailed research. However, it can be difficult to read due to each bar’s size. This leads me to my recommendation for your chart research: the Candle Stick. At the end of each day, the labs are then reviewed step-by-step by the instructor and a detailed explanation is provided about the technologies covered, interpretations of the questions, and common mistakes that were made by students with relation to each topic.

Day 5 is a conclusion lecture of the week in review. In addition to this the instructors will review the students’ performance for the last 4 day and give recommendations on readiness to take and pass the CCIE SP Bootcamp Exam, along with suggestions of what topics to focus on during further preparation.

Before you finish this course, you will be provided a full set of our full-scale lab materials (which mirrors the most current lab exam). The materials contain CCIE SP questions, requirements and solutions, which can be comfortably studied and practiced during the period between your course finishing date and the lab exam date. Intended Audience:

These Mock Lab Workshops are intended for CCIE SP Training candidates who are within three months of their actual lab exam. Introductory material will not be covered, and thus, students are expected to have a CCNP-level of knowledge with extensive CCIE-level preparation. The lab scenarios covered during these workshops are designed to be highly close to the real CCIE lab.

So many players are waiting for the news of wow. They are talking about it and review on it. There are many forums on net.

Last week, Blizzard released the long-awaited (at least by me) Rogue Q&A series. Ghostcrawler and the rest of the community team answered many of our long-standing questions, and gave us some insight into where Rogues are headed as a class. You can read the full details of the Q&A that Eliah posted for us.

After reading the questions and answers, I breathed a sigh of relief. No hints or indications of any nerfs coming our way, and Blizzard actually acknowledged several longstanding flaws with the class. Not only that, but they actually provided possible solutions; I’ll be taking them with a grain of salt. New Rogues are excited about our class’ complexity and diversity, while experienced Rogues are proud that we are now respected as damage dealers instead of being seen as second-class DPS.

Phasing seems to be Blizzard’s new favorite toy. It’s being used be more and more as we progress through Wrath. From the Wrathgate to those annoying out of body/spirit quests in Zul’Drak, phasing is changing how we see Azeroth itself. But it strikes me there’s once area where phasing should sometimes be used and isn’t: bosses. Specifically I mean the big guys … Kil’Jaeden, Illidan, Loken, Yoggy, Algalon and, of course, Arthas himself.

The logic here is simple, these are bosses key to game lore and killing them not only takes an enormous amount of effort (or in the case of Kil’Jaeden, banishing him back to where ever he came from) but it also has an effect on the world itself. Think of the impacts the events of the Sunwell had – phasing was never implemented there, and definitely should have been once Wrath was released.

Now I know you will be thinking: “Why should we only kill a boss once?” I’m not suggesting that once you kill the Lich King, for example, you are locked out of killing him again. Rather that his death triggers a change in Azeroth – which is where the phasing comes in. Icecrown Citadel could collapse or be recycled by other NPCs, such as the Ebon Blade. Once this happens, you could then walk in, click on an NPC and ‘relive’ the fight in the form of a new raid. The same thing could be done with the Sunwell, for example, and it could open up a new quest chain and further the game’s lore in new and fantastic ways.

We’ve already seen how phasing can change Northrend, just look at how it’s used post-Wrathgate. How do you think it could be used (particularly considering that the new expansion is called Cataclysm) to change how we play, the bosses we kill, and how we raid?
